The Pause Menu can be reached by clicking on the tiny raft floating in the far, bottom right corner, or simply pressing the ESC key on the keyboard. Displaying this menu will pause the game and will give you the following options:
- Continue Play: you can continue playing.
- Restart Level: will restart the current level. However, you will lose a life as well as any points collected in that level so be careful before deciding to restart the level.
- Help: displays help.
- High Scores: will display the highest scores.
- Settings: here you can adjust different settings.
- Suspend Game: will save and suspend your current game, which can be resumed later.
- End Game: rather than Suspend Game this option will appear if you try to end a game before you have completed at least one level successfully.
- Close Program: will quit program.
